PM Modi meets President Zelensky, paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi in Kiev

PM Modi Ukraine Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Europe these days. Recently, he was in the capital Warsaw on a one-day visit to Poland. After this, he reached war-torn Ukraine by train, where he met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. During this, PM Modi put his hand on Zelensky’s shoulder and had a serious discussion with him.

Amidst all this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was in Kiev, Ukraine, tweeted, paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi in Kiev. Bapu’s ideals are universal and give hope to millions. Let us all follow the path shown by him to humanity.

Let us tell you that PM Modi had talked to Zelensky during the G-7 summit in Apulia, Italy in June. During the conversation, Modi told the President of Ukraine that India will do everything it can in favor of a peaceful solution to the Ukraine conflict.

He said that peace can be brought only through dialogue and diplomacy. In the meeting, the Ukrainian President invited the Prime Minister to visit Kiev.
