On Wednesday, August 21, Ronaldo launched his YouTube channel and entered the pages of history straightaway. Within just 90 minutes of opening his channel, Ronaldo broke the record for the fastest 1 million subscribers on YouTube as his fans immediately started subscribing to get a behind-the-scenes look at his life.
Subscribers crossed 1.97 crores
In less than a day of opening his channel, the footballer’s channel has crossed 1.97 million subscribers. The football star announced the launch of his YouTube channel on his social media accounts, where he has a huge following. Ronaldo has 112.6 million followers on the X platform, 170 million on Facebook and 636 million on Instagram.

Ronaldo posted on his social media account, ‘The wait is over. My @YouTube channel is finally here! Subscribe and join me on this new journey’. He has named his channel ‘UR Cristiano’. The first video of 39-year-old Ronaldo, who hails from Portugal, was watched by 7.95 million people within 13 hours. Millions of people are subscribing to Cristiano Ronaldo’s YouTube channel every hour. He is making records. In just a few hours, he has achieved YouTube’s golden button.
Ronaldo, one of the greatest football players, currently plays for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. He recently participated in Euro 2024 but could not lead his team to the title. The footballer had already announced that this would be his last participation in the Euro Championship.
Although he is physically fit, his natural ability as a goalscorer has diminished. This was evident in his European campaign, where he struggled to score crucial goals from inside the box.
