After protests all over the world, Bangladesh government now busy in convincing Hindus

Bangladesh Interim Government on Hindu Attack: The whole world is watching what is happening in Bangladesh for the past one week. The whole world saw how fundamentalism took over after the coup in Bangladesh. Temples were demolished. Hindu houses were burnt. Hindu women were tortured. Violence took place in many parts of the country but now the emerging powers of Bangladesh are on the back foot.

The head of the interim government has been brought forward for crisis management. The new power center of Bangladesh, which calls itself an advocate of democracy, is now engaged in the exercise of cleaning the blood stains on its image.

Efforts to persuade Hindus in Bangladesh

The violence against Hindus in Bangladesh was protested all over the world. Protests were held in almost all the major countries of the world along with India. Now the head of the interim government is trying to convince the Hindus by visiting temples. He is calling all the citizens Bangladesh. He is denying any kind of controversy.

PM Mohammad Yunus in the interim government tried to convince the Hindus by saying, we are one family and we are Bangladeshis. There is no dispute between us. There is no Hindu, no Muslim in the country, everyone is a human being and everyone has the right to live with equal rights.

Holiday announced on Durga Puja

The Bangladesh government, which has come on the back foot, is not only taking symbolic decisions but is also making several announcements to assure the safety and solace of Hindus. A holiday was declared in Bangladesh on Durga Puja. A delegation of minorities met the Home Ministry advisor in the Secretariat to meet the various demands of Hindus.

During this time, the Home Advisor of the interim government admitted his failure to protect the Hindus. He also apologized to the Hindus with folded hands. Not only this, the interim government is preparing a list of the people who have become victims of the violence, who have also been promised financial compensation.

Why did the tone of the interim government soften?

The army and the government in Bangladesh have not come on the back foot just like that. Actually, there was protest all over the world against the violence against Hindus. CM Yogi and Himanta Biswa Sarma had expressed concern over this. Voices were being raised in many parts of India against the atrocities happening in Bangladesh. This is the reason why the interim government of Bangladesh is now talking about the safety of Hindus.
