Why is the right hand used in any auspicious work, know the reason behind

The right hand has special importance in Hinduism. In Hinduism, using the right hand for any auspicious work has its own importance. During worship, the right hand is used in all the works, from offering sacrifices in the havan to taking the prasad of God. At the same time, using the left hand in worship is considered inauspicious. Know what is the reason for this.

For the infinite grace of Gods and Goddesses

According to astrology, the right hand is considered to represent the Surya Nadi. That is why the right hand is used for any work that requires more energy. Whereas, the left hand is a symbol of Chandra Nadi, which requires less energy.
Therefore, it is said in the scriptures that one should always do those tasks with the left hand which require less energy. This is why the use of the right hand is emphasized in worship. It is believed that if the work is done with the right hand, then the person gets auspicious results, due to which he gets the infinite blessings of the gods and goddesses.

Do not use the left hand

Scientists believe that the right side of a person’s body is much stronger than the left side. The human heart is on the left side and that is why that side is considered very delicate. That is why only simple tasks are done with the left hand.

This is also a reason

Most people use their left hand for defecation etc. The left hand is used to clean the body’s dirt. Cleanliness is important in religious activities. Therefore, performing pooja-paath with this hand is not considered auspicious.
