Indigo introduces ‘IndiGoStretch’, to enhance passenger facilities

The country’s renowned airline IndiGo has launched ‘IndiGoStretch’ business class service to enhance passenger facilities. The airline will provide this facility to passengers on 12 routes of the country including Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore. Indigo’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Peter Albers said on Monday that this is to meet the needs of a large number of premium passengers, apart from being a ‘no-frills airline’.

According to the CEO, the booking of business class will start from Tuesday i.e. 6th August and this facility will be available to the passengers from the month of November. Earlier in May, IndiGo had announced a change in its business strategy after declaring a profit of Rs 8,172.50 crore in the financial year 24.

Great Features
The airline’s new service ‘IndiGo Stretch’ is a special business product for India’s busiest and business routes. Its interiors include coupe-style, 2-seat wide bay as well as food options from Oberoi Catering Services. Talking about other features, it includes premium seats with a large pitch of 38 inches, a width of 21.3 inches and six-way adjustable headrest with neck rest and 5-inch deep recline.

According to the airline, the business class seat will have an electronic device holder, a 60-watt USB-Type C power supply and a three-pin universal power outlet.
