WhatsApp to end its support from devices running on Android 4 or older!

WhatsApp keeps releasing new features and updates for its users from time to time, which also includes updates for operating system versions like Android and iOS. In such a situation, WhatsApp stops supporting smartphones running on many old operating system versions. In this episode, there are 35 such smartphones that have lost support and the chats of these devices have also come under threat.

According to media reports, WhatsApp is going to end its support from such devices which are running on Android 4 or older, iOS 11 or older and Kai OS 2.4 and older versions. According to WhatsApp, only those devices will get WhatsApp support which are running on Android 5 and newer iOS 11 and newer versions. However, the chatting platform has not mentioned the names of the devices that will lose WhatsApp support.

According to Canaltech, the list of devices losing WhatsApp support includes 35 smartphones, including those from brands like Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Motorola –

Samsung – Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus, Samsung Galaxy Core, Samsung Galaxy Express 2, Samsung Galaxy Grand, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005 LTE, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo LTE+, Samsung Galaxy S19500, Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini VE, Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini I9190, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini I9192 Duos, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini I9195 LTE, Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.

Apple –  Apple iPhone 5, Apple iPhone 6, Apple iPhone 6s Plus, Apple iPhone 6s, Apple iPhone SE.
