Team India was cheated badly? Sri Lanka played a dangerous trick, Rohit gets angry

After facing a 3-0 defeat in the three-match T20 International series against India, the Sri Lankan cricket team swung into action and made a dangerous plan to defeat Rohit Sharma’s army in the ODI series. The home team always has the right to prepare the pitch according to its own choice for any bilateral series. The same was seen in the ODI series against Sri Lanka.

Sri Lankan coach Sanath Jayasuriya and captain Charith Asalanka also knew very well that in the current Indian team, except Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, the rest of the batsmen play spin very poorly.

Was there a big betrayal with Team India?

It cannot be claimed whether Sri Lanka itself had demanded spin-friendly pitches for the ODI series against India or not, but it cannot be ignored that the host team has got a tremendous advantage in the first two matches.

Sri Lanka took full advantage of its home conditions and attacked Team India with the weapon of spin. In the first two ODIs against Sri Lanka, Indian batsmen looked helpless against spin.

Dangerous batsmen like Virat Kohli, Shivam Dubey, Shreyas Iyer, Shubman Gill and KL Rahul surrendered in front of Sri Lankan spinners. So far in the ODI series, Rohit Sharma alone has shown that if you want to be successful in Sri Lanka, score runs here and win matches, then you have to play cricket in an aggressive and explosive manner.

India got trapped in Sri Lanka’s trick

Rohit Sharma scored 58 runs in 47 balls in the first ODI against Sri Lanka. During this, the Indian captain hit 7 fours and 3 sixes. Captain Rohit Sharma’s fierce form was also seen in the second ODI match. Rohit Sharma scored 64 runs in 44 balls in the second ODI against Sri Lanka. Rohit Sharma hit 5 fours and 4 sixes in his innings.

Sri Lankan coach Sanath Jayasuriya and captain Charith Asalanka knew that most Indian batsmen are poor at playing spin, so they made this weakness of Team India their weapon and prepared a brilliant strategy. In the first ODI match, Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga and captain Charith Asalanka tied the match by bowling lethal spin to bowl out the Indian team for 230 runs.
