Five new trains are going to run on the tracks from the Integrated Coach Factory.
The gift of 5 new Vande Bharat Express
According to the ICF official, 5 orange Vande Bharat trains will soon run on the tracks. All the trains are orange in colour. These trains have 16 coaches. All modern facilities are available. However, the decision on which routes these trains will run will be taken by the Railway Board. With these trains running on the tracks, the travel style of the passengers will change. These trains manufactured at ICF, Chennai have been designed to make the journey of people smooth and comfortable. So far, 70 Vande Bharat train rakes have been manufactured at this ICF.
16 Vande Bharat trains to Maharashtra
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav recently gave information about Vande Bharat trains in the Lok Sabha, in which he said that out of 102 trains, 16 are running in Maharashtra. Let us tell you that till 19 July 2024, a total of 102 Vande Bharat Express trains are running in the country. Out of which 16 Vande Bharat are running in Maharashtra. He also gave information about the Gaurav Trains Policy and said that its aim is to connect India’s rich cultural heritage and historical places with Bharat Gaurav trains.
Sleeper Vande Bharat train
After the success of Vande Bharat Express trains, the railways introduced Vande Bharat Sleeper trains. Vande Bharat Sleeper trains were introduced for comfortable sleeping travel on long routes. According to a News 18 report, 50 new Amrit Bharat trains have also been sectioned. The phase of final testing of Sleeper Vande Bharat and Vande Metro has started. If the report is to be believed, the first Vande Bharat Sleeper trains can be introduced by August 15. These Sleeper Vande Bharat trains have 16 coaches and a capacity to travel for 823 passengers.
