100 Israeli fighter jets create havoc in Lebanon

Israel- Hezbollah War: The war between Israel and Hezbollah in the Middle East has taken a very fierce form. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has openly said that we are determined to protect our country, to bring the residents of the north back to their homes safely. Whoever harms us, we will harm them.

Hezbollah wants to take revenge for its commander.
Now the hostility between Israel and Hezbollah has increased so much that both countries are attacking each other fiercely. On one hand, the Israeli army started air strikes in southern Lebanon, while on the other hand Hezbollah responded with a big drone and rocket attack. Hezbollah said that it has also avenged the killing of its commander Fuad Shukar by the Israeli army in Beirut in July.

Hezbollah fired 300 rockets
Hezbollah fired more than 300 rockets at Israel on Sunday morning (August 25, 2024) to avenge the killing of the commander in Lebanon. A statement has also come from Hezbollah regarding the attack on Israel. Hezbollah says that it has fired more than 320 rockets at Israel. However, only 150 rockets have been confirmed by Israel. The Israeli army said that all the rockets were destroyed due to the air defense system.

Israel declares 48-hour state of emergency
Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Galant has declared a state of emergency across the country for the next 48 hours. Officially called a special situation on the home front, it gives the IDF Home Front Command extended powers to impose restrictions on the civilian population.

Israel destroyed more than 200 targets.
Immediately after Hezbollah’s attack, the Israeli army issued a warning to the people living in the areas of Southern Lebanon where Hezbollah is active. It said that they should leave the place immediately. And only after the warning, Israel launched a huge attack. IDF said, preparations for these attacks were detected on Sunday morning. IDF spokesperson said, more than 100 Israeli fighter jets went to Southern Lebanon. More than 200 launch sites (along with 6000 rockets and UAVs) were destroyed. Hezbollah was planning to attack with these 6000 rockets.

Know why the fire of war broke out?
According to media reports, last month a missile was fired in the Israeli-occupied Golan region. 12 youths were killed in this attack. To avenge this, the Israeli army killed a senior Hezbollah commander in Beirut, after which the war between the two sides has intensified.

After Hamas, now direct war with Hezbollah.
After the death of a top Hezbollah commander in an Israeli attack and the death of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in a suspected Israeli attack in Iran, the fear has increased that the ongoing Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip could turn into a regional conflict. These attacks have been carried out at a time when Egypt is hosting a new round of talks to end Israel’s war against Hamas.

Hezbollah has said that it will stop the war if a ceasefire agreement is reached. Israel started attacking Gaza after Hamas attacked Israel on October 7. Since then Hezbollah has been attacking Israel. Hezbollah is considered to be much more powerful than its ally Hamas and has an estimated stockpile of 1,50,000 rockets and missiles, including missiles.
